Injector cleaner
Hey everyone, i was wondering if anybody has used the Lucas injector cleaner that you put into your diesel tank? Success or no notice of change with rough running with the injectors. Also, will harm anything with the engine if i do use it?

Cheezit once said something along the lines of this.
The fuel pressure at the injector nozzle is upwards of 26,000 PSI (or in that neighborhood). Anything that can get stuck in there and stand up to that pressure is not going to be removed by an injector cleaner.

Stiction is a problem in the spool valves, which are in the oil side of the equation. Search on stiction and there are some products that have helped some people. Rev-X, HSS and this new Archoil.

indeed I have said that more then once. The FN bg cleaner guy was rather unhappy with me when I tried to get him to explain how his product worked. Then I explained to him that I didnt care what the shop policy was Im not selling injector cleaners.
