Brakes are done. I am amazed at how bad they were, although the lack of proper braking for the last year and half should have been a give away. The outsides of all of them were getting on in ages but passable. The insides of all 4 were a completely different matter. Had I had the rotors turned when I first replaced the pads 3 years/30k miles ago, things might have turned out differently. All in all I'm just glad to be done with this project and with any luck I should be able to manage a power brake now.
Ouch! I still gotta narrow down the squeal from the front right, its gotta be brakes cause it goes away when i hit them, and goes away if i take rotor+caliper off. hmmm
either way, just washed the outside and cleaned the inside of my truck. smells good inside again
