std cab long bed/supercab short bed. Same WB?

std cab long bed/supercab short bed. Same WB?
Hi, I'm looking at a '78 F-150 4x2 supercab short bed, and I'm wondering if I can put the 4x4 chassis from a std cab long bed underneath it. Do they have the same wheelbase? Has anyone done this?

They are different. But it can be done.

Thanks Jon, Here's what I found from that thread:
Standard cab long bed = 133
Supercab short bed = 139
You say that it can be done... how much work are we talking here? Are we talking about stretching frames?

I would make it a 133 wheel base super cab. Just make some new rear mounts that will line up with the cab then measure how much you will need to take out of the bed to make it match up.
Or you can cut the frame and put the 4wd front on the 2wd rear. But that is a lot of work and precision.
