Squeaking when damp!
I have a 89 F-150 302 5.0. It seems when it is damp/humid that my fan belt squels like a pig. I have changed my belt, no luck, took my belt off and checked my tension arm pulley bearing, seem okay as far as a can see. What else could cause this??

hmm... have you used belt dressing latley? If you have ...... Take off the new belts, because belt dressing totaly messes them up. Buy new ones, then sand the pullys. NEVER EVER under any condition use Belt Dressing!!!!!! Very bad stuff... it works for about 1 hr.... then it makes things even worse... The only thing that it is good for is puting on rubber hose if it is stiff or old...

My '91 does the exact same thing. Most of the trucks made around that time do it. I don't think there is anything you can do accept live with it. It is annoying as hell though.

Mine was doing the same thing till i sanded the pulleys.
