strange buzzing when turning the wheel
hi i have a late 80s early 90s ford ranger and its making this strange buzzing when i turn the wheel so i figure it needed power steering fluid but the resivour is full so could it be that the power steering pump is going bad? i cant expect it to go bad though cause it was sitting for a few weeks and it had no fluid in it when i purchased it so what could it be?

Since it sat w/o fluid for an extended period of time, I would suspect you haven't gotten all the air out of the system. Put the front end up on jack stands and slowly turn the steering wheel, lock to lock a few times. Top off the fluid if needed. Let us know if it helped.
