I would like to splice some additional lighting into the parking lights. That being said I plan on running LED lights, but my question is how many additional watts would be considered "safe" to run on that circuit? I currently am running Recon LED tail lights so that may reduce the load on the circuit as well?
LED light takes next to nothing. I have 1.5 W light bulb tester and when I probe the new LED brake lights -it did not even glow on the current they took.
It is opposite problem. New, replacement LED blinkers will make the flasher going faster like with burned bulb unless you add resistor or suppose you can replace the flasher.
How much you can add? My F450 had originally double taillights (2nd mounted on the top of the bed rail) and the flatbed has additional 8 markers. All running on factory fuses.
I have 10 watt LED (each) driving/strobe lights on my F550 that are wired to my front parking lights. They have been on for 3 months with no issues, and they are always on when the truck is driven.
