Brake Pins
I decided after reading on here, that I probably should check my Brake pins.
So this A.M. I picked up some pin lube and pulled the left front. Ahhh !!!!
New style pins, a little dirty, but cleaned up nicely. PO must have changed them. Lubed up and reinstalled.
I gave some thought on quitting there, since it had the new style,but I pulled it anyway. Top pin frozen almost solid. Turn and twist with pliers and drive with drift, turn again and drive etc. Finally came out. bottom came out OK. Both were new style pins. New top pin and cleaned bore, and reinstalled.
I got too hot, so I am waiting until a little cooler to pull the rears.
My point is that it seems as though the NEW STYLE PINS can freeze also.
