the vehicle is a 2005 escape 2.3 l 4cyl auto trans ...the question is: do i have to remove the transaxle before removing the engine? would it be easier to remove both as a unit? i've not worked on one of these engines before other than an intake gaskets replacement job....any help on this question or any tips or hints on this engine removal overall would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance, jay
