Absolute Performance Apex Intake Manifold

Has anyone heard anything about these yet or even seen or used one for that matter? They are a little cheaper than the Go-Go Stage 1's but is one better than the other?

As stated many times before, if your running under 500 hp there's nothing out there better than the stock intake for performance and filtration.

It's not a cold air intake...... it's an intake manifold that you can buy with an EGR Delete. I probably should have specified that I guess. lol

I copied this from a post from absolute on another forum

Gonna offer a couple different options to you guys. Main reason for this is because I want to help every customer build what they want. Cali(and all inspection required states) will be able to benefit from an Apex manifold as we will be building sets with the emissions system intact and operational should you need it. That way you guys can benefit from increased airflow without sacrificing visual appeal for your pesky inspectors.

He says that he's gonna offer an intake that will retain the emissions equipment. Idk just figured I'd clear that up. Idk if that's still the plan but he said this in February 2012.

Would sure like to see an independant report supporting their claims within the parameters of a stock or semi-stock engine. Show that it's actually better than the stock setup.

The stock one has a lot of capacity as well. No cleaning. They last over 50K miles.

needs a CARB number, or you might as well run propane injection
with a 8" stack and a smoke tune. it isn't gonna pass smog.
