Trailer turn signals
Last night I noticed that I have neither turn signal working on my car trailer. The trailer works fine when connected to my Yukon. So I checked the 7-blade plug-in on the truck and found no power to either post for turn signals. I thought maybe there is corrosion on the wire connections inside the plug, so I probed the wires ahead of the plug-in and still nothing. All other lights appear to be working fine....I still need to check the brake lights to make sure. Lights are bright, so I wouldn't think it would be a ground. I am leaning more toward a relay or fuse that may be bad. Are there just the two relays under the hood for the trailer turn signals? If so, how do I check these relays?
