Slotted Mags

If I remember correctly there was some discussion awhile back about slotted (US Indy) mag wheels. I was digging through some "treasures" next to the garage and came across this set. 15x10 4.5 rears and 15x8.5 5.5 fronts. Does anybody run these anymore?

That's what I'm using on my 49. I have had them since 1970. Mine are all 10's @ 5.5 bolt pattern.

those rear 4.5's are not worth anything. i will pay to ship them if you wanna get rid of them. JK. i think the slots fell out of favor for awhile but must be making a comeback because they now repop them. crager i think. i have always loved them. i was 8 when my dad bought a set for $80. i still have them. plus another set for my 60.

send me a pm or visitor message if yours need a good home.

I'd definately be interested in the 10" wide with the 5 on 5 1/2 pattern.
I'm running 7" wide all around on my truck and having some 10's on the rear would be fantastic.

I've always loved slotted mags

Man... I have old-style slots on just about everything I own! A set of 15x8s on the '56 as well as my '76 F100 and I have a set on my '74 Duster and '67 Ranchero. I also have 10-20 slotted wheels int he shed as well as 4-6 NOS slot mags i scored off of eBay. You can say i'm a bit of a SLOT MAG JUNKIE!

That being said... if these need a new home, be sure and PM me!

American Racing make 'their' rendition of the slotted mag, called the Ansen Sprint. It's ok, but just doesn't have the look of the old school ones. WHEELS | American Racing

Wheel Tech International is re-producing a slotted mag wheel that very much look like the vintage ones of the 70s called the SLT Muscle Mag. Check them out here: Welcome | TQ Rod Wheels, SLT Muscle Mags and RT5 Retro Alloys by WheelTech International

Sorry... can't help it. I'm a slotted mag junkie!! Anyone know where I can find some E-T Kel-Stars??? Need a couple more for my mustang..
