Change the oil and then go from there. Who knows how many miles are on it, plus its been sitting for so long. These motors need fresh, good, clean oil to run properly.
You really need to change that oil! Im not saying it will fix your problem but clean oil is imperative to the injection system.especially if the truck has been sitting a couple of years...
Do what was said above but I don't think it's gonna fix the issue it sounds like worn poppet valves in the injector. Pull the solenoids on the injectors and see if you can get a .002 feeler gauge under the armature plate (square plate under the solenoid)
Run a buzz test when cold and I bet you have some injectors that sound muffled
When you start it in the morning it misses and lopes like it's running on 5-6 cylinders and vibrates bad when in drive trying to accelerate till the temps start to come up and then it's fine until it sits 6-8 hours ?

Biggest thing to remind others about a buzz test is that it wont tell you any codes unless you have a really bad solenoid.
The idea of a buzz test is for you to use your ears and listen to how the injector operates.
If you have a really bad solenoid issue, it gives you a code to identify the solenoid so you dont have to check them all.
They rarely go bad, but the buzz test will give you an idea of a weak injector or if your having major poppet issues.
