That would be great if there were a place to buy fuel! You are missing the point, but that's ok. I don't need you to get it.

Calm down hot rod, I truly don't get it?

So after re-reading I am only guessing that you are setting this rig up for post apocalyptic events? If not then where can you drive 2 days straight without running into a gas station on this continent? I'm not harshing, just curious!

I am calm. I just favor the exclamation point! Post Apocalyptic events? Sure. That's a pretty broad range of explanation, but it works. I like to be prepared, and this goes along with that.

Did a little looking, measuring, and reading. Looks like the long bed trucks of this era had a 38 gallon tank. Also looks like it will fit on the driver side, but if it won't a tank can be built that will hold 28 gallons easily. Also, the exhaust can easily be routed to the outside of the frame rail on the passenger side, allowing the same general amount of room for another similarly sized fuel tank. Problem is, I'm coming up dry at the parts web sites (bronco graveyard, napa, carquest, o'reiley, auto zone, advance, rock auto, google search and shopping). Looking under 2001 F-350 w/ V10.

AHHHH Larger fuel tank is exactly what I'd want. I only wish I could hold more fuel than the 44 Gal. and that it would be in the same tank, and also that it wouldn't be something that is noticeable. I'd even settle for a 50 - 60 Gal. Tank if such a thing exsisted or is out there.
