Tire swap
My '94 Mazda is currently running 31-10.5-15 tires and they are getting quite worn. I can't find any used tires in that size UP here. I can get 225-70-15's for it at a really good price [free]. An important consideration when I'm unemployed and basically broke. Will they work?
The truck has no special mods in the suspension, and I'm without a spare now. There is no sticker on the door telling me what was stock or what rear end is on it.

If you go online to a company that sells tires, like The Tire Rack or Discount Tires, you can enter your vehicle year, make, model, etc, and it will list the tires that were available for your truck. I don't think 31s were an option in 94. The 225s shouldn't be a problem. There should be a metal tag attached to the differental cover that has your axle ratio stamped in it.

While the 225-70's aren't mentioned 215-75 is, so I guess that answered that. I'll take a hit in ground clearance, but that beats hydroplaning into an oncoming vehical. Thanks for the answer.
