HPX leaking

found some oil under the ol powerstroke and traced it to a fittings on the hpx cross over. I read to use locktite 680 on the fittings, but having trouble finding it localy. we do any of you guys know what napa or orileys has that's compatible.

Get the cross over line off and put the original plugs back into the heads before it blows and catches the truck on fire.. The cross over tube isn't all its cracked up to be until you get into the high HP range.

I differ from the opinion of Mrjonesjr. The HPX is useful for reducing the rough firing on the 6/8 part of the cycle. It smooths the engine.

In answer to the actual issue, go to ford and get the fuel rail o-rings and put a pair in. They are also available at dieselorings.com

yup,hpx does smooth the idle. hpop o-ring kit comes with a cute little tube of the correct stuff. if its time for servicing the hpop...use that stuff. i had a problem with mine vibrating loose also. loctite does the trick. if you cant find it. pm me a address. ill send you a tube of it.

thanks for the offer, but I finally tracked down some. like you I think my problem its the fitting vibrating loose.

I've never used that stuff, the O rings are the key to stopping leaks, IMHO.
