F-100 clutch
Feels like my clutch is getting to the end of its usefull life. 1963 F-100 with factory 4 wheel drive. 292 Engine.
I have changed a few clutches in two wheel drive vehicles in past years, but never in a four wheel drive.
Any suggestions or tips appreciated.

Thanks. Another question. Calling various places, most say they have either an 11" or 10" clutch kit for this vehicle. One place says they list a 12", 11". and a 10.5", but he only stocks the 11".
Is there a way to tell what size I have before taking the transmission out?

Only if it has the original clutch and flywheel:
Use with 11" clutch / 1961/64 F100/600 292.
10" clutch: 1961/64 F100/350 223/262 I-6.
12" clutch: 1961/64 F350/700 292.

The 12" is listed at many stores. The pressure plate bolt pattern is too large. It also uses a diaphragm plate which is thinner than the stock plate and that can cause adjustment issues. I don't know why they offer it. These issues can be overcome but I don't think it's worth the hassle.
