What is A.I.R. ?
Every web site I go to to order parts I am asked if my 1995 F-250 V-8 351 5.8 Auto 4X4 has an A.I.R. system. I don't know what this is or if I have it. I've searched the internet and this site and can find no infomation. so: What is it? How do I know if my truck is equipped with it or not? -jonny

A.I.R In the context I am use to stands for Air Injection Reactor (Air Pump/Smog Pump) I not sure of any other names.

What is A.I.R. ?
Can't find anything known as A.I.R. in the books.But they may be asking about your emissions system. There is a creature known as the Managed Thermactor Air system, it has two solenoids that are called AIRD and AIRB Air Divertor solenoid and air bypass solenoid.

They are not asking if you have air conditioning. Im not really shore what it does but A.I.R. injection consists of a tube running from each exhaust manifold, about 3 inches up from the collector, to the back of the intake manifold. I have it on my truck so when i wanted to put headers on it it cost about an extra 200 bucks for the special headers.
