I hang out here most of the day while I'm at work. The boss doesn't pay to much attention as long as our work gets done and the money still comes in.

Does looking for work count as work? The employment office people say it does. Oh well, have an interview tomorrow. Where is the smiley for crossing your fingers?

Working or Playing?

Well, since I don't smoke, and people around here take smoke breaks, I take FTE breaks!

That whole smoke break used to bother me too. Guys would take 3 or 4 breaks in the morning, and another 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I just started going outside with them even though I don't smoke. It was nice in the summertime watching all the scenery walking by in downtown Portland.

Working or Playing?

Two concepts that need to be understood:

1. Permanant Layoff

2. Self-employment

Have a nice day!
