balljoints gone out
well guys iv been out of pocket fo a while.
between work and both my boys in baseball iv been tied up and have not been on line much.
but my steering wheel started to stick and not return to center after a turn.
i took it to a friend of mine that ownes a small local shop,
he works shift at the plant with me and his shop on his days off,
so when he is on nights he cant work on trucks.
but to me he is worth the wait
good deal is that he drives a 2000 f250 and is nuts about ford diesel.
unlike most of us he likes to keep it stock.lol
but he has a 6.0 liter doing a head job on it now,
he should have it out soon.
he gave me a price of $300 for parts and $350 for lobor.
so $650 total. and he is someone i trust with my truck, iv known him from maybe junior high school
i parked my truck 2 weeks ago and been driving my work car 2004 hyundai accent and im missing my truck bad.
so maybe ill be back on the road in a week or so.
on a side note keep my oldest son in your prayers,
i bought his first truck . 2003 chevy 4x4 ex cab.
got it down in pearlard tx.
i think thats around rolands(mucksters) area.
but just pray for him to be safe

Glad to hear from you, Don. I know what it's like to not be able to drive your truck for awhile. I missed mine something terrible when I was doing the transmission work. We'll send up some prayers for a guardian angel to watch over your son. Yep, Pearland is just 30 minutes up the road from me. I wish I'd known y'all were in the area, we could have met up. A Chevy, huh? Thought you taught your boy better than that.
