I am looking at buying a 6.7 powerstroke but I am looking for some honest fuel economy numbers from real owners - like true average mixed use both loaded and empty best and worst etc. - I'm looking at a crew cab 4x4. Thanks guys!
I have a KR 4 Door, short bed, 3.31 rear end, 4 x 4. On the highway @ 75 mph I am getting about 20 to 20.5 mpg. City driving I am in the range of 14.5 to 15 mpg. My trailer is a tag 26' enclosed trailer with car and assorted junk it weighs in at about 9,000 lbs and I get about 12.5 to 13 mpg towing at 65 mph.

Same truck and very close numbers. I get the same on the highway. The worst I've seen was this past winter, winter blend fuel, I was 14/15 mpg around town.
18-20 highway, 15ish around town, 10 pulling a big momma fifth wheel (17,500 lbs). Lie-O-meter has proven to be 97.87% accurate over 26,000 miles and 23 months.
if I get up to speed and hit reset I can consistently see 23 or 23.5 @ 1600 rpms but that is a small subset....
really hammering on it and have seen 8.5 towing 23k total gcw.
around town easy driving - typically 16 or 17...
on the hwy @ 80 or above about 17....
I will say this, it's better than my 7.3 or my two 6.0's in ANY conditions...
15 to 15.5 in the city, 23-24 on the highway at 65mph and towing my 30' toy hauler 'down' to the desert or river and then back 'up' to the house I average 12.5 mpg. almost "unlimited" power when towing and very nice having the engine/exhaust braking system.
I long term average 13.6 mpg. 350 long bed, leveling kit, 3.55 gears, 4door 4x4. I also trimmed 6" off my air dam under the front bumper. City driving with some towing. Lots of slow speed dirt roads and stopped/running the AC.
Lariat crew cab with 20" wheels, stock height, 3.55 e-locker, 4x4
18.1 mpg overall with almost 20K miles.
20-22 mpg unloaded highway, up to 23.5mpg sometimes
15-18 mpg around city
10-15 mpg towing 10K camper plus family and extra gear in bed

my mileage is really close to this as well.
my trailer isn't quite that heavy, but I get between 9.5 and 11.5 towing 14K lbs.
