Wow!! It actually works. After installing the fuel sump,I can use the whole tank. Very nice option to have.
Just thought I would share, since I usually ran out just after 3/4 tank.
did you change the float thing inside the tank at all? that sounds like a different problem than just what a sump will cure to me but maybe not....hmmmm.....
I like going to E if I have to. Got 365 miles out of the tank,in stead of 250.
I've heard of a lot of guys having the 3/4 tank issues. Something to do with the fuel pickup being damaged or falling off.
I have most mods you do,some different brands, but mainly the same. Never gotten good mileage. Had tony w tunes and then live tuned by tony and now gearhead tunes that I'm not at all impressed with. Going to try out php tunes next. Probably should just go with the f6 and get it over with.
Yall are brave! I never ran mine below 1/4 tank but only because I dont have the hutch mod and dont want aerated fuel hitting the pump and causing any problems.
But now that my son is driving it and is a student and only works part time I dont think it ever gets over 1/4 tank!
