How does a 3.0 V6 sound with flowmasters and a semi-stock tailpipe, and what does it do for performance?? been debating on this mod, but I don't want my sweet truck to sound like a mosquito, or worse--a tricked-out Honda civic. YUCK!

I have the 40 series Flowmaster on my 2.3l 4cyl a single in dual out muffler with two 3 inch tips out the back. At idle it rumbles nice, when really into it, it has a hint of rice but very little. My buddy has a 3.0l 6cyl it sounds great. The best muffler to use in my opion is a 40 series Flowmaster it rumbles and is the loudest ever. Plus it improves power and gas mileage.
