Fuel Cross Flow Problem
Hello All,
I am having fuel crossflow problems on my 91 F150. When using my rear tank some of the fuel winds up in my front tank. Ford was replacing the valve responsible for the problem under an extended warranty but by the time I found out about it my truck had too many miles on it. Has anyone out there replaced this themselves. The dealership said that they have to lift the truck bed to do it, is this true or can it be done by droping the rear/front tank. I would like to do this myself if possible. I am new to the forum and this is my third post. Thanks to all who have offered information to my past posts and thanks ahead to all that can help me with this one.

Fuel Cross Flow Problem
Yes, you can do it either by pulling the bed or dropping the tank. You have to replace the Fuel Delivery Module (FDM) in the tank that's RECEIVING fuel, and you'll need an $8 set of 4-5 plastic garter spring tools to separate the connectors. Look here or in a Haynes manual.
