I have bought all my 5100's from AJUSA. Great service, good pricing, quick ship. No problem if you need to return.

Thanx J. I have passed by that place many times, but never knew they were a "supplier" Just saw them as a 4wd/jeep repair shop.

I just picked up a set of 5100's from 4wheelparts for $300, they were out of the stabilizer though.

Bilstiens Shocks

Got mine at Allshocks.com for $71.00 each, 2 day delivery. Also the dreaded 47-49 wheel hop is almost completly gone. Drove the same route today as before the shocks were changed and it was a noticeable difference!

rcorcich, I have the same truck as you except mine is a 2012 and I am very interested in hearing how the new shocks and stabilizer effect your ride.

I will be eagerly awaiting your expert review!!

Thanks,
Randy

Okay, so are these THE shocks to replace the stock Ranchos with on the FX4s? Or do they specifically work better with the stabilizer? Trying to research all the threads on shocks to pick the best replacements. And you replace all four, correct?

I don't think you can go wrong with the Rancho 9000's or the 5100 Bilsteins. Replace all four and the steering stabilizer. Red/gray shocks is going to look funny on that pretty truck...

Okay, looking at AJUSA, I'm a little confused.... I see the 5100's but since my truck is stock, not sure which one to order? The part numbers are different based on the "lifted height" - I don't know what mine would be - do I assume "0"?

eta - I think I found another thread that had part numbers listed - I'll go look for that one again...

eta again - found the part numbers 24-186018 and 24-186025 - heights are unlifted, it looks like. Am now recovering from sticker shock.....

Errrgh - fronts are on back order.

Ok, its been a week now and I can honestly say the ride is much smoother, the truck feels more planted to the road with less wheel bounce, and the same for the steering smoother, less play .A deffinate improvement.
