Where can I find a filter to replace my MAC.

I have searched the web with no luck.
Every search wants to know the make,model,year...
What I need is a filter to replace the stock filter on my MAC Performance intake.
I'm interested in ANY filters...paper,foam,......ANY.
The Accel Kool Blue website has a search for non-model specific filters but it did not work for me.
Any ideas?

Give me a call on Monday. FTE/Motorhaven is now a Mac Products dealer (just did an intake install this weekend) and I'll be able to get one for you at a good price. 770- 806-1955

Actually the MAC I have is new,I just don't like it.
It allows too much dust in.
I was looking to switch up alltogether.

Great site,BTW.

Where can I find a filter to replace my MAC.

I gather from all the posting here that this is a common problem with this type of filter.Would a high quality paper filter be the best option?

I had a Rockit Tube with filter on my Jeep Wrangler and loved it. Did a better job than stock when Mud Bogging and enhanced the performance by a bunch. I guess I'll just try it and see..

Where can I find a filter to replace my MAC.

Just called MotorHaven today since I am only a day away UPS and they didnt even have them in stock so I cancelled my order. I'm in the Guard and our two week field problem is coming up this week so maybe its an omen, and I cancelled my order. I'll stick with my K&N...

K&N has been proven time and again to allow more silicates (sand) into the engine than any other air filter. Do a forum search for "air filter" and you'll see all kinds of comments about the K&N. The MAC filter is much better and I've been using them for quite a while without a problem.

Racer38, as a word of advice, don't take the opinion of one person as the word of God. Tackleberry means well but he's only giving you his opinion and it isn't necessarily based on fact. There's nothing wrong with the MAC intakes and I would personally recommend them.

We just started carrying them less than a week ago. Our first shipment of 4 units sold out the first day we started selling them. There's no way to determine demand when you first start selling an item. We've doubled up on our second order and expect them in this week. I think its less of an omen and more of "I gotta have it now."

We're going to be presenting an article detailing installations and impressions with both a Ranger and an F150 sometime in the next week or so. The Ranger kit has an inverted second filter built into the top of the filter, giving it about 40% more surface area (sort of like K&N's more costly ultra-high flow filters).

I gotta have it now Has nothing to do with it. Sitting on my door step for two weeks while I'm away on my 2 weeks AT does.

Well that and reading negative comments about the filter.

Maybe you should try a different programmer for your web ordering one that will show instock and out of stock. I'm still not 100% sure I wont get one but I am 100% sure it wont be from you.

Thanks, I will probably get one as I was very impressed with my Rockit tube and filter on my Jeep. I just cleaned the K&N's on both my 2001 F-150 and my wifes 2000 F-150 and everything looked clean in the tubes. 30,000 miles before cleaning on one and 22,000 on the other. An open filter makes it easier to know when to clean them
