I have a 1997 ford expedition and i picked up a set of wheels off a 2003 ford f150 they are just 16 inch alloy 5 spoke wheels with center caps. The wheels fit great lug pattern in the same, but I cannot get the center caps to click in.
I can't see why this is happening, do 2003 f150s have different lug nuts or something that allow the center caps to fit? If so what lug nuts are they?
Could there be another reason that i'm just not seeing?
Right I understand that, if that's the case what lug nuts do I need to make this work? Is there a difference between 03 f150 lugs and 97 expedition plugs?ba picture of the right lug would b ideal
So if you understand that why did you ask? Clearly there must be a difference between the lugs since the caps aren't working with yours. You need the lugs from the 03.
I guessed it was the lugs since they hold the caps on I'm looking for a picture of the correct lug nuts so I can get them, sorry for the confusion, if anyone happens to have these wheels or can get a picture of the lugs that would be much appreciated
