Trip report

Last Wednesday we returned from a 45 day trip from the Seattle area to Mississippi then through the Midwest and back pulling our 12000# fifth-wheel. Our overall mileage was 11.8 over 7305 miles and used 617 gallons of diesel and 7 gallons of DEF. Our overall towing mileage was 11.0 mpg.

I am truly amazed with the performance of this truck. It did everything I asked it to do and did it flawlessly. I was very impressed with the quality of the ride pulling the trailer. I remember being at a campsite in Indiana and was conversing with my neighbor while unhooking and he paused and asked if my truck was running. I said it was and he couldn't believe how quite it was.

This is a great truck.

Yep. Uh-uh. You-betcha. Glad you had a safe and enjoyable ride. Nothing like the joy of traveling with the camper and a great truck.

Good report on mileage and fuel/ DEF used! I am looking at getting a bigger trailer and this is the info I need. 11 MPG and 12,000 lb trailer; I'll take that!
