Hey all. I am heading to harrisonville,Mo to look at a vehicle to maybe buy. Seller says it`s never been more than 15 miles from his home so I am a little leary of driving back to the Manhattan area but if I had to, I`m up for an adventure. However, if you have truck and trailer and would be willing to haul my potential purchase home for me, All fuel, food, drinks, and tolls are on me. If you`re interested, please post up! Thank you!
You were talking about doing this on Sunday, I will be out West picking up Chad's father's trailer. If you are up for an adventure, and wish to try to drive it home, you could start home, and if something happened perhaps give me a call, and I could work it out to head that way? Otherwise it would be one heck of a trip from out west to clear out east for me. At least if you could get it closer, it would make a shorter trip if needed for me. (unless you find something that would work better)
I would need to ask permission to take the trailer out there first, as it isn't mine.
You could possibly even rent a trailer, 25 dollars per day from the guy in JC, and pull it with your F150 easy enough. I can get the guy's phone number for ya, if you wish to go that route.
It would likely be cheaper than two trips, one with your minivan, and one for the return trip to pick it up.
My F150 has a huge oil leak in the pan gasket. A casualty of sitting unused for a couple years. Plus it has no trailer wiring. I will be going to look at the vehicle this sunday. Owner says it can stay there till I can make arrangments to pick it up or try to drive it home. I`d rather have it trailered if I could.
