Ok, so i had a chance to hook up my enclosed trailer yesterday for a quick pull. Noticed a few things that were REALLY cool. First off, the back up cam, PRICELESS. Even tho i was a pro without it, now its almost like cheating.
Second, I noticed the 5 blink flash to pass vs 3 blink unhooked, very cool.
And last but not least, and very happy about: when trailer is connected, in reverse, the backup sensor alert is defaulted to off! I LOVE IT!
Oh yea, and is super nice to have a trailer Odometer for each trailer you have. LOVE that too. no more guessing for maintenance intervals. Only thing is I wish i could enter any mileage previously accrued on the trailer, that way it would be total mileage, not just mileage since this truck.
top secret work stuff for that run. Its built as a dual motorcycle trailer, but i use it for hauling tools and airplane parts. as well as other stuff occasionally. Its a great trailer. Cant wait to hook up my boat and see what that looks like.
i cant speak about whether or not its a 2012 feature or not, as i have no experience with the prior year. However, on the versions with LCD productivity screen, when backing up, the option to disable the back up sensor automatically pops up, so if you want to disable its a simple push of a button vs menu hunting. with trailer hooked up (7 way connnector plugged in for brakes and power) the same sensor screen pops up, however instead of being on, its off, and does not let you turn it on (pretty sure). Very cool feature cause when backing a trailer up, that sensor alarm is distracting.

Yep, I've gotten pretty quick about shutting it off, but wish it was off by default when anything is hooked up. It'll scare the crap out of you if you aren't thinking about it because it starts screaming as soon as you put it in reverse.
The back up cam really is priceless, when I was picking up my sleds from the shop last winter the owner of the shop was coming over to guide me back, but before he made it over I had it bang on, 1st try, ready to hook up. The wtf look on his face was priceless lol
what are mini airplanes. and thanks but no thanks, i think i will oversee the break in myself. i have a skyscraper i hook up to and pull around the block once a week. lol. jk
