bought a 70 F250
We bought an all original 1970 F250 Crew Cab with a short bed. It is a 2wd with factory disc brakes, a 390 2v, C6, factory a/c, auxiliary fuel tank, Ranger interior. It has the original interior with only a tear in the drivers seat and a nice hole some knot-head cut out of the front door for speakers. It has mag wheels now but the owner gave me some 16" steel wheels. The truck is in Phoenix and will be picked up by the carrier early next week.
The current owner has owned it for 20 years, they used it for Cub Scout camping trips and family camping trips.
It runs but has been sitting off and on for the last year so it needs a tune-up and fresh gas.
My family can't wait for it to arrive, my two daughters are counting down the days.
We will install shoulder belts, remove the in cab tank and get the A/C running. Maybe next year we will either repant it white or change it to red with black interior. For now we plan to just enjoy it as it is. We have a small camper we plan to tow with it.
I need to locate a 70 grill insert, an original AM/FM radio and a set of F250 hubcaps. If anyonw has any of these parts they'd like to sell please let know. I will take a working or non-working radio, I plan to have it converted to digital by one of the radio restoration guys.
Where do you guys prefer to buy parts, LMC, MAC's, etc.? There are a few little knick-knack things I need. Window crank *****, etc.

I like this radio because it has the stock look, and it has a hidden usb port that you can run behind the dash and into the ashtray.

Cool! Did you put the training wheels on it so you could teach your girls how to drive it?

All kidding aside, LMC had an AM/FM/CD radio that fits the same footprint as the original radio.
Window crank ***** can be found at many auto parts stores (check the racks full of "Help" brand stuff).
I usually get my rear sidemarker lenses from LMC.
Don't get the rear reflector bezels - they're for the other style bed. (I know, I wasted my money on some).
I've found all the misc. parts I needed from junkyards and other folks surplus.
Since I bought it I have had the entire front end & brakes rebuilt. I swapped out the steering box for a rebuilt Redhead unit. I found 16x7 wheels at the junkyard, cleaned and spray canned them. I found some F250 hubcaps for it as well. I have installed a new master cylinder & booster. I charged the add on A/C and what do you know it works. I cleaned the gas tank, replaced the lines and installed a new fuel pump. I've installed an aluminum radiator, T-bird two speed fan, 3G alternator, 3 pt. seat belts & new shocks. I also spray bombed the gray fender & hood white to match the rest of the truck. Last summer after towing our camper to the beach and back I had to get the C6 transmission rebuilt. It pulls well now. We plan to do a lot of camping in it this summer. Last fall the heater core leaked so I took the heater box out and replaced all the seals & core. It has great heat now. I've installed a brake controller and a class IV receiver hitch.
We bought a new camper last year so painting the truck will have to wait another year or so.
This summer I plan to install a F600 instrument cluster.
When the weather clears up I'll try to get some more photos.
Here are a couple pictures from last October.
