Currently running Nitto Terra Grappler 285/75x16 on an '02 F350 crew cab long bed. I have to say that they're great on the road but will spin in wet grass. My place in the country north of Giddings, TX is very sandy loam and I have come close to getting stuck several times wet and dry.
Looking for a recommendation on tires that won't beat me to death on the highway but will still get me around on the property without worrying about getting stuck.
I'm not too concerned about tread wear as I don't use the truck as a daily driver. I pretty much use it for going to the country on weekends. Motorcycle is primary transportation in town.
Nitro Trail Grapplers. MT with great highway manners, and they do great in the soft stuff if you get them wide enough. I used mine in rodeo arenas and pastures and I have zero complaints about their performance.
Brand new tire for reference:
I used to have ProComp Xtreme ATs, less aggressive than the trail graps, but I liked them.
