Hi, I am new here and have not had any problem till now but could use some advice. I have a 2001 F-350 with a auto-tranny. I have added about 250 ft. lbs. through some upgrades (chip, downpipe and 4" exhaust). The truck has 68,00 miles on it and I lost the tranny in it today. Should I have the old tranny rebuilt or I have heard about a 5 speed auto tranny that is suppost to be out? I usually have a good bit of weight on the truck or trailer and I also do disaster relief work all over the country so it gets quite a few highway miles on it at times. Any advice would be helpful.

I have heard great things about BTS trans. Quite a few guys with big power run them and love them. I know that there are couple of guys here with them.
