Blown Head Gasket Fix??
Since I'm not the best wrench bender in the world and have very little time I can't pull my heads even if I knew how (disabled and would have a hard time as well) What I'm asking is has anyone ever tried any of that liquid steel product they sell to fix head gaskets? I hear you pour it in the water and let'er run for an hour and drain then re-fill...some swear by it but I'd rather spend 87.00 and maybe it work than let truck become a big flower planter. One of my employees used some in an older SUV and worked like a champ. Any suggestions?

From what I have read people see to find that it works really well. You drain your coolant, add the liquid, fill with new coolant and let it idle with the heater on the hottest setting and highest speed for an hour. The instructions for it have more after that for further driving... Personally I would be skeptical about something like this and just bite the bullet of a new head gasket, but if you cant afford it or cant do it yourself maybe the liquid steel is worth a shot...

Head Gasket
Well I'm thinking I'd rather spend 87.00-100 and see if it works than 3500 right away...I can always have it pulled if it doesn't work...only an investment of 87.00 for now I just have other expenses that demand my attention...I only use the truck during the summer for local dump runs and such so it's not critical enough to fork-out 2000-3500 right now... I've only talked to one peson who's tried it and it worked for them...I won't be putting it under lots of miles either...first I guess I'll change the oil and see if the milky look could be from setting all winter and picking up condensation (hope a hope a)
