Transmission Help!

Alright guys i have a dilema. I have a 1997 F150 4.6L. I had the transmission rebuilt in August of last year. Now i am putting a new engine in it and when i pull the torque converter out, the pump shaft comes with it. So i call the trans shop that i had it built buy due to the warrenty. They tell me to bring in the transmission and they will get it fixed no problem. I drop it off and when i went to pick it up expecting them to be done with it they show me two large cracks in the bell housing. They are saying that since I am doing the engine swap that i cracked it and they wont warrenty it. (They are stupid and trying to screw me) but a lawsuit will only postpone me getting my truck finished up and back on the road. So i have been looking for a transmission and i found one out of a 1994 thunderbird 4.6. Now i know ill have to take off the back shaft housing but i plan on just putting my guts out of my transmission into it because i have a 4x4. Will this transmission bolt up to my engine in my truck? its only 200$ and id really like to get it so i can get my truck up and running. Any help will be greatly appreciated

You can make it work but, it will have to be totally disassembled like you said and all your parts put into it.
All the 4.6 bell-housings are the same.
