that right there is why I'll likely buy something more modern. If I had the time to learn about these older units perhaps I would enjoy tinkering. For now life won't allow that time, and if I made time for tinkering with my car, other parts of life would suffer. Other parts of life that I'm learning to enjoy and don't want to sacrifice.
Not much to learn, very simple basic motoring that equals unlimited fun not found in today`s plasticmobiles. After a short but boring day at work I just had to take my 67 fast back out for a drive.
I should have pics later today if all goes well...
A bucket T is just a two seater and usually fiberglass body, mine is a 5 seat Touring body that`s all original Henry Ford tin except for the widened fiberglass rear fenders.
It seems that Model A`s are more popular and way more plentiful than Model T`s.
Nothing special, but I got a decent deal I think. Its a 1996 GT Convertible, body isn't too bad but it does have some marks, the top has one small patch on it but will get replaced. Has 160k on it, and I think the wear and tear is average for the age/kms. The guy I bought it from had great taste in the wheel/tire combo as well as exhaust. It may spend a winter at my friends-fathers body shop to get freshened up, same color. The guy I bought it from has a line on some PI parts for me, great price also, nets about 40-60hp or so with "simple" bold on parts.
Sound clip? Now why would you want to hear that noisy old thing? I'll see that I can do
lol...thats why I bought it for...ME... Actually, I like all the years of 'stangs except for those mustangII series, late '70's or whenever they were...
I like the rims and tires also Mo, best thing is, he put them and the exhaust on less than 500kms ago

Well put - I agree on your Mustang taste - I like them all except the II's.
There are some I like more than others!
haha...like my old man says, opinions are like a-holes...everyone's got one, don't try and rub yours in someone elses face
Different strokes for different folks. My wife wasn't particularly fond of these years, but now that she's seen this car in person, rode in it and heard it, she's taken a liking to it.
As much as I said I didn't want a "tinker toy", last night I spent an hour and 1/2 under the front end cleaning and dry lubing the sway bar bushings. They had a nasty squeak to them, one of the local mustang enthusiasts and part sources said to try that before throwing money at parts. Bingo, I still have a very slight squeak in the lower control arm bushings, but for the most part its gone away. I've got lowering springs on the way, I'll lube the control arm bushings when I have all that apart.
