How the heck do you remove the shift linkage rods from the trans. control arm? It looks like little plastic bushings holding them in, do they pop out? Or you have to break them to get 'em out??
Well shes out. Took a few hours, but came out no problem.
I think I found the problem of why I didn't make it home, it just quit, had no more gears..... umm the Torque Converter Exploded!
Once out, I took it out of the bell housing, to empty it, and I heard something loose inside, shake it, everything is loose. Flip it back around, look down hole, and see full of broken metal rings, and carnage.
Gonna bring it to a shop tomorrow to have it rebuilt.

I do must say, it was very easy getting the 4 bell housing bolts out, got all 4 out no problem from inside the cab
