Performer Intake

I picked up an Edelbrock Performer intake this past week for my 351c 2v, the guy assures me this intake is for 2v heads . The thing is the intake says 351 4v cast into it. He says its for the four barrel carb you put onto it, and it will fit 2v heads . In fact he claims he used it on a 2v engine.. Doesnt the intake for 2v heads have 351 2v cast into it. Should I bring this manifold back to him and tell him to shove it, and get my $$ back
I cant find a clear pic on the web of a 2v Performer intake. Could someone take a look at theirs and tell me who's right...

Sounds like a 4V intake. The port sizes are about 2/3s the size of the 4V port. It's very close to the regular 2V but I don't know how it would line up with a 2V head. Hold a 2V intake gasket up to the ports and line up the bolt holes. That should tell you how far off you are.

Performer Intake

I would say it's a 4 Bbl carb 2V intake .. .. if the ports are about 1" wide and 2 " long then it's a 2V .. if the ports are 1.75" wide and 2.250" long then it's a 4V intake.

Thanks for the info guys, After a little cleaning, I found the part number on the bottom of the intake 2665 Edelbrock page says this is an intake for 4V heads. I guess I'm sending it back, unless someone here needs it?
