Anybody have this problem. Done some research and folks are saying this switch(brake switch) is an easy fix. The switch to be located under side of master cylinder and if its bad the cruise control wont work.
Anybody know how to test the switch(can it be jumped) and did it fix problem after changing. Is it a Dealer Only part or can it be bought from auto parts store?
I was guessing that the code could mean that one of two or three different switches could be the bad one..that is why I was wondering if there was a way of testing for it before buying it.
I was guessing its probably a dealer part too but you never know.
Back in my 7.3 days there was a Cam Position Sensor that was dealer but then OReilly started to carry it.
It would be cool if a regular auto parts store had this part ...then I would not have to wait till Monday to fix this cruise control problem
