Okay, I bought this truck knowing nothing about SCA's and so on. I've learned alot thanks to you guys. I picked up some fleetguard test strips not knowing if he used SCA as he passed away and bought from his daughter. The way I read it was Glycol -45 So its good The Molybdate was row 2 about 300 ppm, the problem was the Nitrate It looked brown like the Molybdate until right at 75 seconds it changed and I called it row C around 550 ppm Nitrates. It bothered me that I didn't get a pinkish color until the test expired, was brown right to the end. I know this is long so thanks for reading if anyone can talk me thru this. So if I'm reading correctly I'm at 1.2Sca units per gallon. In my 92 F350 2whl dr. dually with auto trans.
Nope, It says fleetguard 3-way, its very similar and most colors are the same but it comes in a little envelope with a single strip. Mine doesn't test Ph like yours does. They were $1.59 each.
Your just in spec. Next oil change you'll have to add some. Did you check the use by date on the strip? When I first started useing strips I could find four strip packs that were good for a year. Now I'am lucky if I can find strips that are good for two months from the date of purchase.
I started useing all four strips on one sample and recheck my findings.
Where are you guys buying these? My local NAPA looked at me like I was a crazy person when I asked.

IH dealer or sometimes on line. If online I try to call first to ask for the use by date. Here's a link to one, but they are out of stock now. Fleetguard Coolant Analysis Test Kit CC2602A | Wheeling Truck Center
Napa products are DCA-2
Ford and IH use DCA-4
IIRC, either one is fine but the strips don't interchange and the two should not be mixed mix.
