Blade35, on my 04, do I need the up pipe or not? Its a 2004 6.0 in an Excursion.

Im not shure when the Scoop in the uppipe was implimented I want to say 05 but unshure Im thinking the scoop got put in when they went to square egr coolers

I talked to a guy before and he had found a Deal you could put in there and tighten it up and it would crush the scoop down

I dont know how much gain folks get either scoop vs no scoop maybe alittle less turbo delay with spool time from a stop

But if you have a round egr cooler you probably dont have a scoop but not 100% shure
