I have a 2003 F250 with a 6.0, the truck gave a trouble code of p2285 i believe this means the ICP is going out, the truck runs fine but i dont want to have it go bad while we are traveling to a MX race, I was thinking while this part was being replaced i would add a EGR delete kit, should i put a delete kit or just weld plates over the EGR cooler holes. I hope i make since, Please give some info. please. Thanks all

$110! I have it on my trucks and I have no problems at all.

 

Thank, does this just plug up the holes and does not remove it completly.

 

Yeah it just closes it all and reroutes the coolant. Doesn't completely delete it or replace it. Pretty cheap fix compared to most other things on these trucks.

 

Murdermode, so this would be the same as welding plates to close it. I dont want to weld it , just i case i sell the truck later.
