RiffRaff service!
As you have seen on another post, I needed to do something about a turbo.
I called Clay at RiffRaff Diesel at 3:48pm Tuesday and ordered a new one.
Brown just walked up and delivered it. At 2:15 pm Wednesday.
Less than 22 hours from order to receiving.

Oh me too me too, I ordered my turbo yesterday too, but Im on the other side of the country...sound clips please. I will have to wait for my injecotrs to be built before I put the turbo in.
Clay is the man, and RiffRaff is a top notch company with top notch service. They are on my favorite list and I check there site often. Lets just say I have a long wish list.

Powermax. Figured I would just go ahead and up grade. Got to work on it this morning. It is in, just waiting for the FICM to get here in the mail today. Postman doesn't get here until 3:30, so, need to wait.
Also, got a few other things as well. I had been putting off.
Like a radiator drain plug and new degas cap. No issues with the old degas cap, just thought I should change it.

Now I'm jealous!! I've been wanting a PowerMax, but can't justify it until this turbo gives me trouble. You'll like the FICM tune, it should compliment the new turbo nicely.

I was soooo close to a powermax turbo...even had the wife onboard...but then talked with Mark and he suggested the VGT Control Valve may have been causing fits for me...DANG YOU MARK!! LOL....next time I guess I'll get the new turbo...I'd rather have the truck running and my wifes "Go-Kart" (Nissan Versa) paid off, it was a dollars and cents decision...
