I own a 2003 F250 6.0l 4wd. I'm wanting to lift the truck and I'm going with BDS. If I get the 4" kit, I'll get new front leaf springs and a rear block. If I get the 6" kit, I'll get both front and rear leaf springs.
I'll be putting 34/35" Nitto tires with Cepek Rims regardless of the lift, but I'm not sure if I like the idea of throwing a block on original leaf springs.
Should I worry about the block in the rear and just go for the 6" kit?
Will 6" make a big difference in driving vs. 4"? (I'll be putting on dual front stabilizers).
I don't do any heavy off-roading and am getting it lifted 1. for when my neighborhood floods and I have to traverse 2 feet of water, and 2. to look good.
Other than that, most of my driving is highway and city traffic.
Ok, so I went from the stock suspension with 265/75-16 wheels to a BDS 4" front leaf, 3" rear block lift, Billstein front/rear shocks, and BDS dual front steering stabilizers, with 295/75-16 wheels.
My next question is this:
Until I get my speedo adjusted, will the meter read faster or slower than actual speed?
And finally, someone told me that my 2003 F250 Lariat's speedo is computer controlled, not gear controlled. Can I adjust this myself? If so, what's the best way?

Not to derail, but can you post pics? ...And where did you get your kit.
I've been planning on doing the BDS 4" myself. Thanks.
