I'm not sure if questions about brakes go in this forum but its the closest topic I could find.
Anyway I took off my tires to change the brake pads on my 95 F350 and found the pads were fine but I had a crack in my driver side rotor but the other side seemed fine except I think it was a little warped. It turns pretty easy about half way but then starts rubbing and it gets harder to turn. I'm probably gonna replace the driver side rotor this next weekend but should I replace the passenger side one too or is this a problem that I can live with?
I have to agree, if the rotors are not the exact thickness, material, and surface finish, then I think it will effect brake pad wear and how they grab each side. You can get some rotors for as low as 26.00 new!
