Hi all, i will be replacing my valve seals soon and in preparation have been reading up on the process. I have rented a spring tool, air fitting for the cylinder etc. I pulled the valve covers off today and found that the 360 has a bar with all the rocker arms mounted on it( I was expecting just to remove the push rod nuts and remove the rocker arms)
What is the procedure for removing the whole bank of rockers? Just remove the 4 bolts?
Do the push rods and just sit on the rocker arms?
Appreciate the help.

Welcome to FE World! That bar assembly is called a "rocker stand" or more correctly FE heads are equipped with shaft-mounted rockers.
Keep the pushrods in order and reinsert them in the same hole they came out of
Yes, four bolts.
Upon assembly, apply a dab of assembly lube on both ends of the pushrods before reinstalling the rocker stand and rockers.
Use a torque wrench!
... a shadetree way to keep the valve from dropping into the cylinder (instead of air) is to stuff some rope into the cylinder through the spark plug hole.
Can I just leave the push rods in place or are they attached somehow to the rocker arms?
Q#2- Can I take the assembly off without removing the cotter pins on the end?
Q#3 -Any idea on the torque for those?
