Ok guys I have a problem that I can not find anyone else has had.. I too had a non functioning overhead console. I took it all apart and found the resistor that was loose. So I held my finger on it while I plugged it back in, and the display came on like it was supposed to. So ok easy fix I grabbed my soldering iron and soldered it back together. So then I go to plug it back in and it didnt work. Ok so i thought maybe I didnt get it good and was going mess with it again tomorrow. But then I went to grab some food and I noticed none of gauges were working and they was 30 min prior. Ok so I checked all the fuses and all are good. (Checked with a meter). I figure I soldered over some circuit in the console circuit board that I shouldnt have, causing something to blow. But like I said I checked all fuses and all are good. Truck cranks right up and runs great. The dash lights also work but no gauges. Now I'm not so worried about the overhead console, I just want my gauges to work and I'll worry about the display later. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks! By the way my truck is a 1999 F250 V10
