Help!!!!!!!

You need to post more info - is it a stock radio? Damage? Modifications? Do you have an alarm? Keyless entry? Any major repairs to the truck or the wiring? How long has it done it? Did you buy the truck new? Anything else relevant?

Help!!!!!!!

Well, you copied everything I typed, but you didn't answer all the questions. "How long has it done it?" Did it behave that way when you bought it, or did it start after an off-roading trip/collision/stereo install/etc.?

It could be as simple as a loose ground, or as complex as a screw through 2 wires somewhere. I'm not as familiar with the little trucks, so I'd suggest you get the Haynes manual and look at the wiring diagram for your truck. It shows the taillight circuit and all the ground locations.

The more pertinent info you put in your post, the more likely you are to get useful answers.

Help!!!!!!!

My guess would be a ground. I think a good experiment to prove this would be take the faceplate off around the the radio, and temporarily hook a wire to the metal part of the radio case, and then run it to a good ground, preferably the negative of the battery. If this seems to fix the problem, I would check all the ground wires, or just make some new ones. I am not sure how the factory ran the original ground wires, but I would think you need one from the battery negative to the frontend sheetmetal. I know sometimes they also run a strap from the rear of the engine to the firewall sheetmetal. I don't know if this will ground the dash properly(if it is the problem), but I am sure you can figure something out if the temporary wire does fix it.

PS: Write back in if you fix the problem, then I can change the title of the thread so it will pick it up better if somebody is doing a search.
