Well I found the vibration! I thought it was a tire out of balance, so I had the tires all re-balanced and it didn't help.
Today I climbed under the truck to get to the bottom of the issue. I expected to find a bad universal. What I found was all 4 bolts loose on the plate which connects the drive shaft to the 3rd member! I removed the bolts and they all seemed fine so I put them back in and tightened them up. That did it, no more vibration. The problem was, the vibration was not consistent. Sometimes it vibrated more than other times. Anyway, mystery (misery) solved. Next time you are taking a nap under your truck, you might check these 4 bolts…
P.S. Ed's rebuilt FICM is working just fine.
