I just put this motor in and got everything going, now I have two feeze plugs that are leaking.Any tips or tricks on how to change these?I'm running headers and I really don't wanna pull em.
On a different subject, can someone tell me why my p.m. is disabled by administration?
Getting the old ones out is usually done by taking a punch or chisel and driving one side in until you can grab the other side with a pair of vise-grips. Ease of changing them will be determined by access. If the headers get in the way you might have to remove them. If the old plug falls completely in, don't worry as it won't go far. Just fish it out so you can grab the edge.
When installing the new ones, I use some Permatex #2 non-hardening as a sealer. Make sure you drive them straight tho'. That's the trickiest part.
Hope this helps.
