grinding transmision
hello everone. ok hear the problem I have a 1995 ford f150 2wd 4.9L 300 6 cy. 5 speed with OD. the problem i am having in in the transmission when i pull out and shift it goes into gear like it should but when i release the cluch it grinds like i have missed the gear. but it only does this it as i build up the speed or r p m. when shifting if i shift at low speed then it dont grind. and it grinds on down shifting too. it pulles good tho just grinds when ya let out on the cluch. and does it in all gears. any sugestion what wrong?

Shift fork and shifter bushing wear is normal. You should have an access panel in the floor of your cab. Pull that and you can take the top cover and shifter off the trans, and replace bushings and shift forks and inspect for other obvious problems. There are plugs in the top cover, replace those too to avoid leaks.

ok thanks guys i check the shift fork and bushings and i have an inspection hole on side of trans too so if i check for shaveings there and all else fails i will pull the transmission out and replace it if all else fails.. thanks again
